Beanstalk to Rep Eric Adjepong
August 23, 2021 - Beanstalk has announced its partnership with chef Eric Adjepong. Beanstalk will work alongside Adjepong and his management team, Arc Collective, to extend his brand in North America through strategic partnerships in categories including cookware, kitchen accessories, knives and food and beverage products.
Through television appearances on shows like Bravo’s “Top Chef” and Food Network’s “Money Hungry” and virtual cooking classes, Adjepong spotlights West African cuisines in his food.
“As content platforms and consumers continue to embrace more diverse creators, we expect to see demand for products that help home chefs craft their meals,” says Allison Ames, president and chief executive officer, Beanstalk. “Eric is an authentic ambassador for West African cuisine, and we are looking forward to this partnership with him to bring these unique tastes and flavors to retail.”
Adjepong has already begun to extend his eponymous brand into publishing and food and beverage products. He is penning his first cookbook with Clarkson Potter and has also partnered with Penguin Workshop to author a children’s book that explores the culinary storylines of the African diaspora, peppered with kid-friendly recipes and visuals. Adjepong also recently partnered with West-African frozen food line, AYO Foods.
