September 28, 2010, London, U.K., – Leading brand licensing agency, Beanstalk, will be actively prospecting new licensees for the Dr. Seuss licensing programme in Europe at Brand Licensing Europe 2010, as well as working with existing licensees to further develop their programmes.

“Beanstalk is very proud to be working with one of the world’s best-loved children’s properties. The brand continues to offer significant new opportunities for licensing and these will be complemented by the new TV series,” said Ciarán Coyle, Beanstalk’s Managing Director, International.

About The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! The Cat In the Hat Knows a Lot About That! is based on Random House’s best selling Beginner Book collection, “The Cat in the Hat’s Learning Library.” Voiced by award-winning actor Martin Short, Dr. Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat guides two six-year olds, best friends and next door neighbours, Sally and Nick, on a magical journey, with a little help from the Fish, Thing 1 and Thing 2, on fun-filled adventures where they make natural-science discoveries, from how bees make honey to why owls sleep during the day. Filled with both adventure and silliness, the series will appeal to preschoolers’ natural curiosity, and engage them in the process of scientific exploration and discovery.
